We are challenged through this sermon to lay anger aside and pursue becoming a patient person. Jesus words and ways lead us to the abundant life: fully of peace, love, and joy. 

"Envy is pain over the good fortune of others." John of Damascus (d.749) Sunday we discussed the Blind Spot of envy. Scriptures include: Genesis 4 (Cain and Abel), James 3:16, Matthew 20:15, and John 21:21-22.  

Part one of our new series: Blind spots. Scripture focus is James chapter 4 verse 1 which says, “What causes fights and quarrels among you? Don’t they come from your desires that battle within you?” 

In this sermon we visit the response and heart of the Father in the Prodigal parable. It is representation of God's heart to each of us: full of unconditional love.
